Healthspan medicine · personalized
Longevity medicine.
A quantified, root-cause approach to extending the years you live in good function, built around your biological aging trajectory, not the average for your chronological age.
Healthspan, not lifespan. The goal is the function, strength, cognition, energy, resilience, across the years you have, not the count of years themselves.
What it is
What longevity medicine actually is.
Longevity medicine asks a different question than an annual physical. A physical screens for current disease. A longevity assessment quantifies your biological age and trajectory, across hormones, metabolism, cognition, mitochondrial function, and the underlying epigenetic clock, and then builds a personalized plan to modify that trajectory before disease emerges.
The plan is iterative. We assess, intervene where the evidence supports it, reassess, and adjust. Most clients begin with a comprehensive baseline, then enter 3–6 months of active optimization with quarterly check-ins. Long-term care settles into an annual cadence with interval testing.
What we don't do: unregulated peptide protocols, research-only compounds, or "anti-aging" claims unsupported by evidence. The science is moving fast, and we move with it carefully, not ahead of it.
The six domains
Aging shows up across systems.
We assess and intervene across six interrelated domains. Each interacts with the others, sleep with hormones, metabolism with cognition, mitochondrial function with everything. The plan reflects the whole, not a single biomarker.
Biological aging
Methylation-clock testing to quantify biological age and trajectory across cellular and tissue compartments.
- DNA methylation profiling
- Telomere length
- Multi-tissue age
Heart & metabolism
Advanced lipid, insulin, inflammatory, and vascular markers, well beyond standard panels.
- ApoB · Lp(a) · particle counts
- Insulin · HOMA-IR · CGM
- Inflammatory markers · CMR if indicated
Hormone optimization
Sex-hormone, thyroid, adrenal, and growth-axis assessment, with HRT and adjuncts where clinically appropriate.
- Sex hormones & metabolites
- Thyroid & adrenal axis
- HRT, bioidentical, monitored
Brain & cognitive resilience
Neurocognitive testing, neurodegeneration risk biomarkers, sleep architecture, with interventions where the evidence supports them.
- ApoE genotype
- Cognitive testing battery
- Sleep architecture / OSA screening
Cellular energy
Markers of mitochondrial function, oxidative balance, and metabolic flexibility, the engine behind everything else.
- Organic acids & metabolites
- VO₂ max & metabolic flexibility
- NAD+ assessment
Sleep · diet · movement
The behavioral foundations. Without these, the biomarker work tops out fast. We anchor the plan here first.
- Sleep optimization
- Dietary patterns & CGM data
- Resistance + zone-2 training
The cadence
How the engagement works.
The longevity engagement is longitudinal, not a one-time visit. Most clients move through these four phases, then settle into an annual cadence with interval testing.
Assessment
Comprehensive baseline, bloodwork, biological-age clocks, body composition, cognitive testing, lifestyle audit.
Plan
Dr. Glowney synthesizes results into a written plan, what's prioritized, what's monitored, where evidence supports intervention.
Active optimization
Quarterly follow-ups to monitor response, adjust interventions, and track progress against the baseline.
Long-term
Annual comprehensive reassessment with interval testing in between. Sustained trajectory work, not a single push.
What we don't do. We do not promote unregulated peptide protocols, off-label compounds without an evidence base, or "biohacks" that don't survive peer review. The longevity field includes serious clinical work and a lot of noise: we operate squarely in the former.
Is this you?
When longevity medicine is the right fit.
Longevity work pays off across years, not weeks. The clients who get the most from it are the ones who can commit to the cadence and follow through on the lifestyle work.
✓ Likely a fit
- Adults serious about extending healthspan and modifying aging trajectory
- Willing to do baseline testing across multiple domains
- Open to lifestyle changes (sleep, diet, training) as the foundation
- Looking for an evidence-anchored partner, not a peptide vendor
- Comfortable with a 3–6 month active phase + annual long-term cadence
Frequently asked
Longevity, answered.
What is longevity medicine? +
Longevity medicine is a personalized, root-cause approach to extending healthspan, the years lived in good function, through quantified assessment of biological aging, targeted interventions across hormones, metabolism, cognition, and lifestyle, and longitudinal follow-up.
How is this different from a regular annual physical? +
Annual physicals screen for current disease. Longevity assessments quantify your biological age and trajectory across systems (epigenetic, cardiometabolic, neurocognitive, mitochondrial) and build a personalized plan to modify that trajectory before disease emerges.
Do you prescribe hormone replacement therapy (HRT)? +
Yes, when clinically appropriate. HRT decisions follow individual assessment of hormone metabolism, cardiovascular risk, and patient goals: with ongoing monitoring and documentation. We use bioidentical preparations and track response across multiple cycles, not just symptom self-report.
Do you offer peptide therapy? +
We discuss peptide options where the evidence base and regulatory status support their use. We do not promote unregulated or research-only compounds for general optimization. This is one of the lines we hold tightly, the longevity peptide market is a mix of legitimate clinical use and noise, and we're conservative.
How long is a longevity program? +
Most clients begin with a comprehensive assessment, followed by 3–6 months of active optimization with quarterly follow-up. Long-term care is structured around an annual cadence with interval testing in between, sustained trajectory work, not a single push.
